What are slow payers costing you?

Every day a customer pays late is cash you've already earned sitting in their bank account. Put in your own numbers to see how much is tied up, and what it costs you to fund it.

  4. Every month

Your lead closes the month, sends your reports and flags what needs a decision from you.

Why Keel

A keel keeps a boat steady. That's the job.

The same person

You stay in front

Your customers hear from you and pay you. We prepare everything behind the scenes.

South African by design

Questions

What business owners ask us.

Can't see yours? Ask on the free call.

Do you contact my customers or retailers?

No. We manage your debtor book, prepare the statements and draft the messages, and you send them in your own name. If a formal step is needed, we refer you to an attorney.

Do you ever hold my money?

No. Your customers pay you directly into your own bank account.

Which accounting systems do you work with?

Xero, Sage and QuickBooks Online. If you're on spreadsheets, we'll help you move to the right system for your size.

Can you file my tax returns?

Not yet. Tax services start once our tax practitioner registration is complete. Until then we keep your books ready for whoever files for you.

How are fees set?

Ongoing services have a fixed monthly fee based on your volumes, such as transactions, employees or active debtors. Once-off work has a fixed price. Both are in your written proposal before we start.

Is my information safe?

Before onboarding, we agree access permissions, confidentiality and data-handling terms. Your proposal identifies who may work with your records and how they will be shared.

Services

Everything behind the numbers, handled.

Each service stands on its own, and they work best together. Your proposal sets out exactly what's included and what it costs.

Komply questions

About annual returns.

When is my annual return due?

Within 30 business days after the anniversary of your incorporation date, every year. Confirm the filing window against CIPC’s official records.

What happens if I don't file?

CIPC charges late penalties, and after two or more missed years it can start deregistering the company. A deregistered company can't trade legally.

My company is dormant. Do I still file?

Yes. Dormant companies still file annual returns.

I'm already a Keel client. Can I add Komply?

Yes. It's added to your existing agreement and monthly invoice, and we already hold your company details.

Are you CIPC?

No. Komply is a service of Keel, an independent firm. We file through CIPC's official channels and send you the confirmation CIPC issues.

About Keel

Experienced finance support for your business.

Hlubi Hadebe has 19 years of experience in finance across South African and multinational companies.

Most small businesses get bookkeeping, but not the routines that keep cash coming in: weekly debtor reviews, deduction controls, a fixed close date. Keel brings those routines to owner-run businesses at a monthly fee they can plan around.

"A keel sits below the waterline where nobody sees it, and it's the reason the boat stays upright. Good finance admin works the same way."
